"Blue Eyed Grass"

This tiny little flower, only ½" - 1 ½" across, is a member of the iris family and can be found blooming in grassy areas from February through July. We made the acquaintance of this one at a local park renowned for its wildflowers: Edgewood County Park and Preserve in Redwood City, California.
